ABOUT

Toy Soldiers is a new musical about a trio of teen girl musicians who fight in battle reenactments.

It’s the first summer girls are allowed into a war reenactment summer band camp, but the battle has only begun. The only three girl campers, Maggie, Aura Lee, and Lorena, must learn to play and fight like an army while confronting the ghosts of America’s past.

Featuring a score of reimagined war songs, Toy Soldiers examines how history is retold and relived today.

Book, Music, and Lyrics by Tess Rowan.
