Tess had her first play published at age 14 and hasn't put the pen down ever since. As a playwright, Tess's work has been seen at The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, Stagedoor Manor, and Saxon Stage. She enjoys writing stories centered around strong female characters, nature, and human connection.

“Pie from the Patterson’s” Dramafest 2020 Stagedoor Manor Digital - Original One-Act Play

A short one-act comedy called “Pie from the Patterson’s” by Tess Rowan, age 15. It was chosen and performed for the Stagedoor Manor 2020 Dramafest program. Tess directed her cast and worked with a dramaturg in daily virtual classes and rehearsals to create this premiere production of “Pie from the Patterson’s.” This script will be published and available for licensing soon. Mr. Stranger - A Play Written and Directed by Tess Rowan

Tess Rowan's original play, Mr. Stranger, was chosen as a winner in the Dramafest playwright competition at Stagedoor Manor.
