Static - Capital Fringe ‘22 - Concert-Style Performance Highlights

Static performed at the 2022 Capital Fringe Festival in an early version starring, produced, and directed by 17-year-old writer, Tess Rowan. This iteration of Static was intended to be a full production of the script, but due to COVID cases within the cast and crew, the performances were stripped down, modified, and eventually became a concert-style presentation. Within less than 24 hours of hearing about the COVID cases within the cast, Tess Rowan adapted and created this concert-style presentation of her original musical. Static had a sold-out run in the nation's capital, winning the Capital Fringe Festival Best Musical and Best Ensemble Awards. Additionally, Tess Rowan is the youngest writer ever featured in the thousands of shows performed at Fringe.
